Frank J. Mizzi, 79, of Barnegat, passed away Friday, October 10 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Browns Mills. Born in Valleta, Malta, he resided in North Bergen and Fairview before moving to Barnegat 4 years ago. Frank was a machinist for Ganz Brothers in Bergenfield for 15 years before retiring in 1997. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. Frank was known as the Cordon Bleu Chef. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Angela Moreno Mizzi; two daughters, Charlotte Matthews and her husband Wyatt, Monique Colasuonno and her husband Jim; five grandchildren: Kaitlyn Lehman, Jordan Lehman, Nicolas Colasuonno, Joseph Colasuonno and Amanda Lehman, a great grandchild; Jasmine Goss, three sisters; Laura Schembri, Sally Leiser and Grace Camilleri.
