Kenneth Philip DeBonis

February 13, 1953 - May 28, 2020

Kenneth Philip DeBonis (Kenny), age 67, of Toms River, NJ passed away on May 28, 2020 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. He was born in Lakewood to the late Nicholas and Susan DeBonis and raised in Beachwood. Kenny was a resident of Toms River for over 27 years. He was a self-employed building contractor who owned and operated DeBonis Industries, Inc. and was a master of his craft. Kenny took great pleasure in all outdoor activities especially boating, fishing for the “big ones”, gardening in his yard, and playing softball. He was a great storyteller and had a natural talent for cooking. He was a fun loving, happy and very generous man and helped others whenever he could. He was a devoted member of Calvary Chapel Living Water in Toms River. He is survived by his siblings Daniel and his wife Kathy, Dennis and his wife Dolores, Nicholas Jr. and his wife Christine, Susan Bordo, and Sharon Halucha and her husband Robert. He also leaves behind his beloved nephews and nieces Sharon, Nicky, Bobby, Sean, Dominic, Gabriella and Daniel, as well as many cousins and close friends. Kenny will always be remembered for his unique sense of humor, his loving heart and unselfish ways. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him!
