Louella Edwards Koch, 95, of Tinton Falls passed away on December 3, 2014 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Born in Macclesfield, NC, she moved to NJ during WWII to work at Fort Monmouth. She married Edward V. Koch, who predeceased her in 2000. They raised their family in Monmouth Beach. Louella was a member of Precious Blood Altar and Rosary Society, Ladies Auxiliary of the Monmouth Beach Fire Department, and past president the Monmouth Beach PTA. She moved to Oceanport in 1969 where she was a member of the Eatontown Woman's Club and St. Dorothea's Guild. She lived in Oak Park CA from 2002 to 2012. In CA she was a member of the Thousand Oaks Women club and St Maximilian Third Age Group. She is survived by her children, Carol McKenna, Mary Ann Primavera, and Redden Koch, a grandson Sean McKenna, his wife Stephanie, and Great Granddaughter, Delaney,her sister Mildred Shelton and many nieces and nephews. Visitations will be held on Monday December 8, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Bongarzone Funeral Home, 2400 Shafto Road, Tinton Falls. A funeral mass will be offered 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the Church of Saint Dorothea, 240 Broad Street, Eatontown. Entombment to follow at Woodbine Cemetery & Mausoleum, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Monmouth Beach Fire Department, 24 Beach Road, Monmouth Beach, NJ 07750.
