She always volunteered at the kids schools and also at Lake Wallkill in Sussex County, NJ, where the cabin was. Mary was quite the seamstress, she made many of the girls clothes, including christening gowns and prom dresses. She also crocheted and made many blankets for family and as donations. She was a voracious reader, loved crossword puzzles, NCIS and took pleasure in beating everyone in cards. Mary Kelly was a woman who loved her family deeply and was well loved in return.
