Linda A. Grasso

Linda A. Grasso, 76, of Oakhurst, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026. She was born in Red Bank, NJ to the late Lloyd and Vera Hennessy Reya. Linda worked as a Secretary for the NJ American Water Company for many years. Linda adored flamingos, the brighter and more whimsical, the better. Long walks along the beach brought her peace, as she listened to the rhythm of the waves and felt closest to both nature and her faith. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She also had a passion for shopping, always on the lookout for something special and often finding the right thing to brighten someone else’s day. Above all, Linda was a devoted woman of faith. A true prayer warrior, she believed deeply in the power of prayer and lived her life as a testament to God’s love. Her faith guided her, strengthened her and uplifted those around her. Her joyful spirit, kind heart and steadfast faith will be missed by so many. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Steven Grasso, her loving children, Michelle, Jason and his wife Kristen and Ryan, her cherished grandchildren, Sydney and Blair, her dear brother, Lloyd and his wife Cindy, and her nephew, Steven. A Visitation will be held at the Bongarzone Funeral Home on Friday March 20, 2026 from 4 – 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 21, 2026 beginning at 10 a.m. at the Colts Neck Community Church, 25 Merchants Way, Colts Neck, NJ 07722. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery & Mausoleum in Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Linda’s memory to support the Patient and Family Services program at the Abramson Cancer Center.
