Bongarzone Funeral Home Is Prepared to Safely Care for Families During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Bongarzone Funeral Home remains committed and prepared to safely care for the families it serves during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Whenever possible, Bongarzone Funeral Home will continue to enable families to participate in the rituals that are most important to them.

And according to the CDC, at this time, there is no known risk associated with being in the same room at a funeral or visitation service with the body of someone who died of confirmed or suspected COVID-19; however, federal, state and local public health guidance may impact the size of gathering a family is able to plan. Depending on a family’s preferences, their loved one can be safely embalmed. Families may choose either burial or cremation as usual.

At Bongarzone Funeral Home we recognize our responsibility to protect the health of those we are privileged to serve.  We will continue to guide families, as we always have, in ways they can meaningfully commemorate the life of their loved one, while adhering to the guidance issued by federal, state and local public health officials.

Changes can happen at any time and we will do our utmost to support, and assist families in their time of need.

We want everyone to know that we here to serve our families during this time of national emergency.  Even though we can only provide limited services, we will do our utmost to assist families in their time of need.

  • Dear Anthony & Opal, Thank you for all of your patience, knowledge and kindness. My sister and I could not have been more pleased with everything (and you know she's tough). As my sister kept saying "Everything Anthony did was spectacular." She was of course correct! We know our Mom would have loved the "sendoff"! We did for sure! Heidi Clark

  • Dear Mr. Anthony Bongarzone, My family and I would like to thank you and your staff for taking care of the preparations for the viewing and funeral of our dear wife and mother, Cecilia T. Gadenz. During our initial contacts with your funeral home we felt that we had reached out to a supporting family, not just a business. That feeling of support, love, and care on your part was experienced throughout the whole process, the viewing, the special videos, the prayers you said before going to the church, and the funeral itself concluding at the Mount Carmel cemetery. You paid great attention to every detail and everything went so well. So again, thank you very much from the bottom of our heart. We will always recommend and encourage people who look for a sensitive, caring, and professionally competent funeral home to reach out to you. Gratelully, Renato Gadenz and family
