Anna Zadorozny

Anna Zadorozny passed away on Friday, Oct. 15 at the age of 98. She was born in Popovka, U.S.S.R (Ukraine) to Alex Lavrinenko and Marena Babchenko. In 1942 she was transported to Germany to work in a foundry for the duration of WWII. She married William Zadorozny in Heidelberg, Germany on Dec. 22, 1945. In 1946, she moved to Eatontown, NJ where she resided for 75 years as a homemaker. Anna was very active in life. She had a love of gardening and took great pride in her home-grown flowers, fruits and vegetables. When this passion wasn’t occupying her time she could be found creating beautiful embroidery and needlepoint designs. She was predeceased by her husband William Zadorozny and her son Richard N. Zadorozny. She is survived by her daughter Kathy Zadorozny and her husband Lyle Hoffman and grandchildren, Janice Glass and Susan Miffitt. As well as four great-grandchildren. Besides U.S relatives, she is also survived by numerous relatives in the Ukraine. Anna's graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday October 20th at Mount Carmel Cemetery in West Long Branch, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Richard N.
