Mary R. Klose

December 28, 1934 - November 7, 2017

Mary Regina Klose passed away on Tuesday, November 7th, 2017. Born on December 28th, 1932 she was a native and lifelong resident of New Jersey. She was an extremely devoted daughter to her parents Rudolph and Helen Klose until they each passed away. She was the youngest and only girl in her family and was pre-deceased by her older brothers Al and Joseph. She is survived by her brother Thomas and wife, Carma Klose, and her sister-in-law, Josephine Klose. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Thomas and Holly Klose, Judi and Lenny Zimmermann, Sharon and John Geyer, Renee and Frank Maffei, Marilyn Klose, Andrew and ____ Klose, Lin and Kevin Griffin, Gayle Klose, Eileen Klose, Amy and Douglas Wacker, Kathy Klose and Lori KLose. She is also survived by 19 Grand Nieces and Nephews and their families. Mary was a part time employee of JC Penney and retired as a Technical Librarian at Earle Naval Weapons Station. She was a HUGE fan of the New York Yankees, especially Derek Jeter when he played and cherished any opportunity to listen or watch. She even had the opportunity to attend a Yankees game. After the death of her dog, Benji, she was very devoted to her dear friend, Polli. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Sunday, November 12th, 2017 at Bongarzone Funeral Home, 2400 Shafto Road, Tinton Falls, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 13th, 10:00 AM, at St. Dorothea's Church, 240 Broad St., Eatontown, NJ. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum, 840 Cranbury Road, Jamestown, NJ. Mary requested that donations be made, in her name, to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
